Marshfield Clinic and Security Health Plan are launching a $150,000 funding initiative to support innovative, community-led projects that address food insecurity and promote healthier lives across Wisconsin. Offered through Caring for Communities, this program reflects a shared commitment to improving access to consistent, healthy food.
Food insecurity-limited or uncertain access to adequate food-remains a serious challenge, contributing to preventable health issues and reduced quality of life. By investing in local organizations that understand their communities, the program aims to foster sustainable, meaningful change.
Eligible tax-exempt and government agencies within the Marshfield Clinic and Security Health Plan service area may apply for funding awards of up to $10,000 to support projects that help individuals and families access the food they need to thrive.
Priority is given to requests that support communities located within the Marshfield Clinic and Security Health Plan service area. (Note this includes a portion of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.)
Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on Monday, November 24, 2025. Awardees will be notified on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
